Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films usually within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and an obsession with the genre. Her reviews started in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of the family at Channel Awesome. She continued to be a participant on the website from January until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts: one focused on the Charmed series and the second one co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She's also appeared on Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows as well occasionally adult comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017). She began in late 2009 to write reviews of films which gained her acclaim on the Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the network's family of movie critics. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was a member Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
